Hohenwald is a town in Tennessee. The name is derived from the german term “High Forest. The town is the county seat of Lewis County. If you want to explore Hohenwald. You can go to the Lewis County Museum of Natural History - which stores the largest collection of animal mounts in the country. You can find the key to the Cabin where Meriwether Lewis died. The museum also has exhibits to early American Settlements, Civil War Artifacts, Gordonsburg Mining and the Swiss Settlement.
